About Basic Attention Token

Basic Attention Token (BAT) is a digital asset used in the decentralised digital advertising platform called Brave. It is used to reward users for participating in the platform, such as watching ads, and is aimed to incentivise better behaviour in digital advertising, as well as to provide an alternative currency to traditional ad payments such as clicks or impressions. BAT is built on the Ethereum blockchain and can be bought, sold and traded on various cryptocurrency exchanges.
